Château Haut Gléon: Languedoc wine with AOC Corbières, AOP Corbières IGP Vallée-du-paradis and IGP Pays d’Oc denominations in Durban.
Here, Corbières wines are legendary.
As reflected in its chapel, Château Haut Gléon has been occupied since at least the sixth century, with its refined grandeur unfolding from the lush greenery to the valley in which it nestles, into the aromatic plumes of its wines. Its history closely follows that of Languedoc and represents the province’s most distinctive features: grape cultivation, as well as the Visigoth, Gallo-Roman and medieval cultural heritages. This unique past, combined with exceptional soil and modern techniques, enables Vignobles Foncalieu to produce a range of wines that borrows its natural elegance from troubadour poetry, delighting connoisseurs and gourmands alike, from the most exacting to the Epicurean.
